The Vital Role of Data Managers in
E –Discovery and Information Governance Presented by: Mike Hamilton & Nancy Patton (Exterro)
Data volume is exploding. While there may be tremendous value to the business hidden within this information, it also creates risk and additional costs which need to be managed. Your legal department is faced with additional challenges, as they now are required to search through all of this electronically stored information (ESI), which can be on the order of terabytes or even petabytes in order to find the relevant facts of litigation in which it is involved. Your colleagues in Legal need data managers like yourself to help identify, store, collect and process data that may be potentially responsive to their cases.
In this session, learn how your role fits into the information governance and e-discovery processes and how you can add immediate value to your legal department to help advance your career.
Speakers:
Mike Hamilton, J.D., Senior Manager, Exterro
Nancy Patton, Senior Solutions Consultant, Exterro
